MAN\u2019S PROBLEM<\/strong><\/p>\n The Bible explains that God created us and sustains us and, therefore, has the right to absolute authority in our lives. Out of His love, He made us in His image so that we would seek to honor Him as the true Creator (see Acts 17:24-27).<\/p>\n Instead of seeking God, man rebels against God\u2019s authority and chooses to live his own way. The Bible says that failure to recognize God\u2019s authority is sin. The penalty for our sin is death\u2013not just physical death, for all men die\u2013but eternal separation from God in hell. Man rightly deserves this judgment for failing to honor his Creator.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment\u201d (Hebrews 9:27).<\/p>\n GOD\u2019S SOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWhen we were yet without strength\u2026God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.\u201d (Romans 5:6, 8-9).<\/p>\n God\u2019s great love and mercy can extend a pardon to sinners. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for sinners and pay sin\u2019s penalty. In His death, Jesus endured the punishment that sinners deserve and therefore satisfied the wrath of God, making it possible for sinners to be made right with Him and receive eternal life.<\/p>\n Christ rose from the dead and will one day judge all men: \u201cWherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.\u201d (Philippians 2:9-11)<\/p>\n OUR RESPONSE<\/strong><\/p>\n God commands you to repent from your rebellion and to trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.
